What would you all say would be the latest possible date that a serious presidential contender for 2012 to open up his/her PAC?  I'm not talking exploratory committee, yet, but just Political Action Committee, unless they are the same thing.

This question was spawned by the news that Gov. Palin has opened up her PAC, but I wanted a separate thread for it because it doesn't just apply to her, but to all potential candidates.
