I've worked with him far more than afleitch and know him better. I see him constantly active as well which is a plus for me.

This is a really tough one. Both are clearly competent in their roles.

But I'll go with afleitch, overall ideas are more moderate, and of course party loyalty.

I vote for Afleitch in this, but then changed my mind later on. If you asked me to vote again tomorrow I may end up going for Afleitch again - both are extremely good candidates.
