I do try to limit the number of stories I pass on from Roll Call, and today I decided against passing along the hilarious item about centimillionaire Herb Kohl looking to borrow a winter coat (despite coming from the family that owns Kohls, which does sell coats) and the somewhat depressing article about the decline of staff-led Hill tours.  (How does one make the crying emoticon again?)  But this one is actually important.

How is he different from the generic chameleon/slimy politician?

They usually don't stop their successor from being seated.

I think these generics do, if the opportunity presents itself.

The generics aren't just as bad. Norm Coleman's top lawyer is Ben Ginsberg, who was a top lawyer for Bush's election-stealing in 2000.

What's crazy is there was that election in 2006 where the Diebold machines stole the election for the Republican, and the Democrats agreed to let the Republican be seated when the term started anyways. Bush in 2000 used the Presidential term starting in over a month as a reason for the recount ending. Why the hell is Franken not sworn in already? This sh**t is seriously screwed up.

Moral of the story: If you're a Republican and steal the election, you take office at the normal time. If you're a Democrat and the Republican fails at stealing the election, you're delayed.

Unproven assertion, first of all.

Second of all....(and I'm not quite sure on this), but I believe that the machines in FL-13 were not manufactured by Diebold.

And concerning the second bolded sentence: Remember Landrieu 1996?
