A group I'm a part of is meeting with an MLA from Alberta next week, but we weren't quite sure how to address him. Is it just Mr. Whatever?

Thanks. The MLA's name is Kyle Fawcett (I think he represents part of Calgary). He wants to set up some sort of youth advisory council to the Legislative Assembly. I served on a similar body here in Washington State and he wants to know how to get things started.

Surprise, surprise, he's a Tory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Fawcett

I think formally, you would call him Mr. Fawcett. He might get a laugh, and be impressed with your knowledge if you call him the Honourable Member from Calgary-North Hill. And if he's a real chill guy, he'll tell you to call him Kyle.
