Ken Starr has joined the Prop 8 legal team, who are trying to invalidate the 18,000 existing gay marriages.

Jerry Brown also wants something invalidated. In a reversal, he's now arguing that the California Supreme Court should strike down Prop. 8 because it's not a valid Constitutional amendment, but is a Constitutional revision, which needs a 2/3rds vote of the state legislature. Seeing as the state legislature has already passed gay marriage, that's not going to happen.

In other California news, the budget is FUBAR.

I'd like to invalidate Ken Starr's marriage.

... if he is married.

Ken Starr WAS a Freedom Fighter for going after the Clintons but he is clearly a rather Horrible Person now.

...

Would you have voted to convict Clinton if you were proudly serving the state of Minnesota in the U.S. Senate?

I'm really not sure what Brown is trying to do is a good move for the gay rights movement.  I'm worried that it would create more of a backlash than any other option.

Of course not.

But it's a great move in the Reelect-Brown-For-Gov movement
