Whoever wins, the lawyers will be victorious. But Franken is definitely favored at this point.

Franken, of course. Never any question. It was preordained.

clever

my theory is that Coleman ordered his thugs to challenge everything that existed, in order to build up a synthetic lead, so it would be a breeze for him to get tools such as you an htmldon to spew baseless garbage once the gap narrowed/he lost.

My original vote was Franken by 42 votes.

I'm starting now to think it could be something closer to 142

I had concerns about Franken's electability initially. But I did vote for him three times, at the District Convention, in the primary, and the general election.

Up until a day or two ago I would have said Coleman.  Now, things have changed.

This isn't Chicago or New Mexico. People who have been dead for 30 years can't win elections in Minnesota.

Paul Wellstone is dead, but he isn't 30 years dead. And the places that famously elected dead people recently are Missouri and Hawaii.

I suppose Wellstone deserves that title. Well among people still living I guess.

Floyd B. Olson has been dead for 72 years.

Which makes the terrible candidates the DFL has chosen in recent elections all the more perplexing.
