Many of SPC's views are so idiotic they're hilarious, example: allowing "competing currencies" or his claim that the French Revolution resulted in a socialist dictatorship (although for once Gully actually got something right by pointing out that he simply defines "socialist" as "anything I don't like")

I never said that Hayek's support for the idea made it true. I merely said that the fact that he won the Nobel Economics Prize while having those views means that the views deserve a serious debate, rather than ridicule.
