It's not LEGO - don't associate the great LEGO brand with this rubbish.

It's not LEGO - don't associate the great LEGO brand with this rubbish.

"BrickArms Custom Minifigs begin their life as actual LEGO minifigs, then undergo a transformation. The torsos are professionally polished, and any printing is removed. Next, a custom decal printed in full color with metallic inks is applied, BrickArms Weapons are placed in their hands, and finally, they are ready for you! A free alternate colour weapon with every order"

So yeah, it's what the article says - customized LEGO.

Still, I think it's rather idiotic to complain about this - so what, somebody made a bad guy toy. They've only been doing that since they've had good guy toys. Who else would you have them play fight with? Besides, these aren't on toy store shelves - the vast majority of people buying and using these are actually going to be adults who have LEGO as a hobby. I know one such guy. He'd probably love these.

"Parents who feel uneasy about their kids reenacting exciting moments in recent Afghan history might consider buying their offspring an SS major instead - a snip at just eight quid."

Jeez Louise. People will complain about anything these days, won't they? Roll Eyes

Anyway, I did some digging on their website.... you should see all the cool stuff they have there!! Grin

This is Robocop's gun, the Auto 9. Me, being the big Robocop fan that I am, I recognized it immediately. Grin

They even have the M4A1 Pulse Rifle that the Colonial Marines had in Aliens. Cheesy

Here looks like the rifle you get in the first Halo.

Neato! I can combine this with mickey mouse legos to make a farfour playset! Or I would if shipping and the toy wasn't so expensive. Sad
