Name the winner in the great Georgia U.S. Senate runoff, not who you necessarily want to win, but who you think will win.

Please vote, and comments, of course, are alwlays welcome.

I believe the winner will be a white, Protestant male over the age of 60 who attended the University of Georgia.

I think it's insanely obvious that Martin is going to win to anyone who's not a hack

I'm gonna predict Martin because no one else is, and if he wins, everyone will think I'm some sort of genius and if he loses I can just never post in this thread again.

I have to imagine Chambliss, since black turnout will likely be down from election day. While the Democrats do have a TON of organization, this is so important for the Republicans that I can't imagine they'd let it slip away like they did with, let's say, Indiana or Ohio.

My strategy is just to be sarcastic so I can claim either way.

Chambliss - 57%
Martin - 43%

And we'll be hyping this as the first "defeat" for Obama.  Tongue

Cambliss will win 54-45 or something close to that. The blacks won't turnout like they did on election day. Martin was helped tremendously by Obama's coattails.

I already tried that with Ronnie Musgrove in his race against Roger Wicker -it didn't work.  Sad

A random, precise guess: 54.38% of the vote for Saxby Chambliss.

Chambliss by 4 to 6. Does anyone in the area know who has the better ground game for the election?
