Please select six options, one opinion for each at-large senator, and one opinion for your regional senator. Please do not be a smartass and select two opinions for one senator, or select an opinion for a different senator other than the six that represent you. This will be open for seven days.

I won't say how I voted, since it might strain my work relationship with the other Senators. Tongue

You disapproved of Dwtl.

Disapprove:
Jas, Sensei

If anyone finds it odd I'll elaborate (and no it doesn't have to do with the expulsion measure)

Kind of weird that you're the least popular senator, and yet the safest senator in this cycle. I guess Jas has created a system under which his enemies can be reelected easily. Tongue

Thing is, DWTL is the only Senator with under 50% approval here. Tongue

Also, that's the nice thing to say about single-vote FPTP; you need to represent something halfway sane to get elected in most places. With STV though, it's much, much easier for candidates far out of the mainstream to get elected.

I support representative democracy.

While I may disagree with some people politically, I think our legislature should try to include all political viewpoints which receive significant backing within the country. I promoted the system because it achieves this goal and ended a long cycle of uncompetitive elections for these seats.

(And I don't grant the premise that I have any 'enemies' in the Senate, or Atlasia generally for that matter.)

The reason for giving Jas and Sensei unfavorables is obvious, Jas has proposed a lot of awful bills that have past due to mostly the staunch liberal makeup of the senate and cronyism.  His policies have set us back ten years and entangled us to other countries up the ass.  Sensei hasn't really contributed much.

Al gets a thumbs up because his lone bill past is a good one and he does contribute to the senate quite often.  Lewis gets a thumbs up for running the senate so smoothly

Please explain how my bills "have set us back ten years".
Please also explain what, if anything, "entangled us to other countries up the ass" means.

Most of your bills deal with adopting international protocol accepted by your home country, but not by the nation Altasia is based upon.  You think that we are a country like Ireland instead of a powerhouse like the United States.

Your other bills have set us back ten years by adopting policies that hinder progress.

1. It's never been established just what Atlasia's status or place in the world order is.
2. These treaties were not simply signed by my home country. Every treaty I presented has been accepted by over 100 countries.

My proposals were obviously not that radical. In almost every case where these bills were presented to the Senate, you were the only voice of disapproval.

I'm not the one who feels we should shun the global community and I'm not the one standing alone in the Senate against these measures. I don't care whether or not you approve of these measures, but I do disapprove when you mischaracterise me and my work.

Your other bills have set us back ten years by adopting policies that hinder progress.

I note you've decided to repeat yourself rather than answer the question.
So I repeat, which bills of mine "have set us back ten years".
