I read an article the other day about hardline islamists in Somalia threatening to take matters into their own hands over piracy. There was a quote about piracy being a capital offence under Sharia Law. I thought it interesting that they weren't interested in it when western vessels were having problems, but as soon as a Saudi ship carrying Saudi oil got taken... well...
