This thread is devoted to Mark Robert Warner, former Governor, and now Senator, of the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Let all Warner supporters come here Smiley

His Keynote Address: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXNQLvu4UgM

His DNC speech, notably awful relative to most keynote addresses, removed him from my fanclub.

Plus his face is all square or something

I don't get the ga-ga over this guy. Sure he was a great Governor and will make a fine Senator, but I don't quite understand the obsession.

His DNC speech was lame, but Iam a big Warner fan wished Obama would have picked him or that he ran for President this year.

This thread is epic fail. If Warner ever gets the Democratic nomination, I will vote Peace and Freedom.

Fine; he doesn't need the Socialist vote to win, anyway Tongue

Really...I thought his speech was the best one.  The only point during the whole DNC I cheered out loud at was when he started talking about Rural Broadband, and said that line along the lines of, "If we can send a job to China, we can send a job to Danville, VA!"  Most of the speakers didn't talk enough policy, especially not good policy like that.

Exactly.  I thought he gave an amazing speech; certainly not deserving of all the criticism its seen on the forum.

When you post on this forum as much as I do, that thought never really pops into your head.

I have; I've been elected Lt. Governor of the Mideast 3 times, lost once for Governor, twice for Senate, although there've been another 2 Senate races where I didn't officially run, but received write-in votes, and I ran an abortive campaign for President before dropping out and supporting Supersoulty.

I wasn't eligible to vote this election because I hadn't registered in time, so it was a joke Wink
