The Gipper's second term Smiley

I wish I could remember his Presidency, but oh well. I would have loved to have been able to vote for him. Smiley

Entering the 111th Congress, in the 11 former Confederate states, the Senate is:
2 Democratic states (VA and AR)
3 tied states (NC, FL, and LA)
6 GOP states (TN, SC, GA, AL, MS, and TX)

Not terrible, but certainly not great, and in the House:
6 GOP states (AL, FL, GA, LA, TX, and SC).
5 Democratic states (AR, MS, NC, TN, and VA).

The Democrats have hardly been eradicated in the South.

Reagan was just finishing up his second term. That was a great year, 1988. Every time I meet someone from that year it’s like we share a secret connection almost. But maybe everyone from every year thinks that.

William Jefferson Clinton: February 7, 1993

Anyway, anyone jealous me for being a Clinton baby?

Why would anyone be jealous that you were born under the tenure of the 42nd President of the United States?

Right towards the end of Reagan's 2nd term.

Gerald Ford. My goal is for someone to give me a medal at the national tricentennial, or at least a spot on the dais for my wheelchair.

More conservatively, I'm going to be one of those people who was old enough to remember Halley's Comet's last visit when it comes back.
