Undecided I'm rather torn over this appointment. I guess the only responsible thing for me to do here is to vote based on how my constituents feel. I've been involved in the Southeast long enough, though, to know that they have a negative history with Xahar.

Nay, though not without reservations. Undecided

This is absurd. Screw ethical issues; the nominee is clearly qualified and would clearly do a good job.

Why? By my count, it's a 3-3 vote.

But it's funny that no one cares about his ethics as long as he can do a good job. It's a shame if he does get the AG job after committing a real crime himself.

The only Senator left to vote is Torie. If you'll remember, he told us that we should be grateful that Xahar is even willing to take the job. That's what I call an endorsement.

I think that he's somewhat more ethically sound than you, Mr "Rape; lol!!!!"

Screw ethical issues?  You are aware that the job he is being assigned has the responsibility of prosecuting crimes for ETHICS violations?

This is like appointing O.J. to be a judge

Yes. I presume that you know what hyperbole is.

Criminal stuff I thought, but that's hardly the point. In reality, the job these days is 95% grunt-work-wiki-building.

In any case, what Xahar did (and can be proven) wasn't especially unethical. If you do set up secret plotting boards, then, well...

There was nothing illegal about that board we set up. We weren't "plotting" anything illegal, so that's just slander on your part. It was a forum to organize our party. What he did was illegal and could've been reported to the authorities, but he was lucky Brandon was nice about it.

I think it's a riot that people don't seem to care about his ethical issues and want him to be the ATTORNEY GENERAL to UPHOLD ETHICS. He will have absolutely no credibility at all as AG and no political clout at all. If that's what Atlasia wants, then go right ahead and nominate him. I certainly won't recognize him as my AG, so I hope he never has to deal with me on anything because I'll have none of it.

I guess we should be happy at least that if he tries anything funny, we have an ally in President Bgwah.

I couldn't agree with you more. The job involves much more than updating the wiki. He's a good kid and all, but I don't think he is right for AG.

Which is good to know at this point, but I'd much rather not have to face the possibility of a major screw up, than looking for a replacement. I just like being on record that I oppose this nomination.

It's sad because this kid still doesn't think he's ever done anything wrong, and we are just rewarding him. We reap what we sow, I suppose. I'm still at odds as to why people are confirming him while talking about a replacement.

At any rate, the Dirty South will not recognize him as our Attorney General because of his past behavior.

Agreed. Not to mention he does actually have the time to update the entire Atlasian Wiki and will do achieve success doing so. I mean he has been a contributer to Wikipedia, and "fixed" up the 2001 Tampa debacle page Tongue. Anywho, I have no doubt in my mind that Xahar will be one of the most qualified to serve the office of Attorney-General.

Al, don't confuse the delusional boy. I can assure you that you'll be wasting your time.
