Obama - 51
McCain - 44

Said pollster David Johnson: "The Democrats have expanded their lead slightly since our poll released on Friday. As of now McCain has not closed the deal in Bucks and Chester counties, and other suburban areas that are critical if a Republican is to carry the state.  After some movement among white females towards McCain late last week, Obama has regained this critical element of support and is polling slightly better than John Kerry was in 2004."

The poll results are based on telephone interviews with 1200 likely voters in Pennsylvania, aged 18+, and conducted October 31-November 2. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

8. Do you approve or disapprove of President Bush's overall job performance?
Approve 12%
Disapprove 79%
Undecided 9%

I wonder if they have odd methodology or something...

Or we just haven't had many Bush approval rating polls lately. I suspect his approval tanked at least another 5-10 points nationally in the past month and a half.

Pennsylvania is in the Obama column.

VA, NV, CO, OH, FL, NC, MO.....

any one of these seals the deal.  I'm excited.

Makes sense... there are really no reasons left to show Bush some solidarity, and there's been the bailout and attendant economic news...
have there really been no more Bush approval polls though?

I'm surprised anyone actually approves of Bush's job performance.
