Update: Georgia is for the 1st round only!

I'm voting for Georgia because of the potential for an unexpected turnout model and Chambliss's weak record combined with a high Republican floor in that state. Minnesota is too volatile and Klobuchar's 20-point win prevent me from agreeing with Lewis Trondheim.

I included several options here that may get few or no votes but I wanted to cast as wide a net as possible without reaching as far as Virginia or Texas.

I don't understand how threads like this end up with 5x as many views as votes.

Tough one. I'm going to say it's between GA, MN and OR. I'll say MN will be the closest.

GA is an option too.

Should that go to a runoff, are we counting the first or the second round of balotting?

I'm only considering the first round.

Probably MN or GA.  GA is going to a runoff, methinks.

Basically, Democrats need to sweep what's contested to reach 60 because I think KY and MS are gone.

Minnesota.

Georgia will be close too, but Saxby will easily win in the runoff.

I would think he might be damaged goods if he's forced to a runoff (although if it's seat no.60, possibly not). I'm guessing he'll narrowly avoid one, though.

I was going to say the same.

Minnesota is hard to name because of the strong third party.  If Coleman pulls ahead Georgia could get a % or two closer.

I'll say Georgia will be the closest in raw percentages, but Minnesota will be closest in actuality.
