PPP released a new poll of VA which shows Obama leading 52% to 46% over McCain. They say undecideds appear to be breaking for McCain but it seems pretty certain that Obama will win Virginia.

Their previous poll of VA, done just a week ago showed it 52-43 for Obama.

Well, with PPP's Democrat tilt, VA will probably be Obama +3 or so come election day, unless we are in for a surprise.

PPP doesn't cook up numbers, they have a solid record.  Public Opinion Strategies is one of the top firms and they DO have an (R) next to their name.

Stop being stupid guys.

I know the trend is for Republicans on this baord to bash PPP, but they are a better than average pollster. Nate Silver has them ranked 12th out of 32, and they were just slightly behind Mason-Dixon, Quinnipiac and Research2000:

McCain's just gaining back soft Republicans who were "undecided" a weak ago.

Most undecideds breaking for McCain, that's been expected all along.

Readjusted to 38d 37r 25i, Obama still gets 50.88% of the vote. VA will give its electoral votes to Barack Obama.

Maybe out of shame they will not vote since the media is already calling this group of voters out for being racist?
