I had a weird dream last night that Steve Young had an upset over John Campbell in my district. Does anyone think this might be an omen for something, or am I pasying too much attention to politics?

It means you should smash your computer with a mallet, grow a beard (extra points if it's grey) and go an ascestic hike in the mountains for the three months carrying only food, water and a ruined tent.

LOL. Campbell is well respected and will win comfortably. It's my CD too. We have four forum members from this gold coast CD apparently. Who knew?

I was considering voting for Campbell until he voted for that dreaded bailout bill. Now, I will be voting for Don Patterson

Do you guys live in Irvine?

How close do you think it will be sbane?  I would be very surprised if Campbell fails to have a double digit margin myself.

Don't know. It really depends on how many people like SPC just don't show up or vote third party due to the bailout. Add that to high turnout among democrats and it could get close. Probably still double digits, maybe around 12 points or so, but close by this district's standards. Watch the 46th though, that one could actually get really close. Below a 5 point margin even.

Funny, the green candidate in CA-46 was actually my science teacher last year. I concur that both races will be closer than expected.
