Can someone who knows more than me tell me if Obama can actually win North Dakota or is this all just smoke a few days before the election?

1. Obama maintained a strong campaign presence in nearly every state he campaigned in during the primaries throughout the summer.  This also partially explains the current numbers in North Carolina and Indiana.

2. Obama has actually campaigned here whereas McCain has not.

3. The state actually is represented in Congress by 3 Democrats and 0 Republicans so the state is not so partisan that it would ignore a Democrat that spoke directly to them as Obama has.

4. McCain is collapsing across the country, its just particularly spectacular here.  There are only a select few states where he is polling at or above Bush's numbers.
