Monday - October 27:

Obama - 55
McCain - 39

These findings are based on the 2008 WMUR / UNH New Hampshire Tracking Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. This survey is sponsored by WMUR-TV Manchester and the University of New Hampshire. 698 likely New Hampshire voters were interviewed between October 24 and October 26, 2008. The potential sampling error for the statewide survey is ±3.7%.

Actually it started yesterday, but I found it today ... Wink

UNH has a pretty good track record, predicted Kerry+1, when he won by 1.5%

In the 2008 NH DEM primary they blew it, but almost everyone did. They pretty much nailed the GOP NH primary though.

I actually worked for the UNH Survey Center for a few months in college. They have a pretty good track record for NH races (those are the only political races they poll).

Tuesday - October 28:

Obama 58 (+3)
McCain 33 (-6)

The good showing for Obama might be explained with the fact that they are only polling 200 voters each day for their rolling sample.

It also tracks the two congressional races, the governor's race, and the senate race.

I think their sample size is four people and a cow.

McCain has a net gain of 6 points and stills trails by 18 points... in New Hampshire?!? Hilarious.

What a god awful poll.
