I don't buy Wisconsin being 1 point more GOP than the national average.

Maybe a bit too friendly than McCain but I think Obama's support (from my biased gut) in Wisconsin is pretty firm.  Not a lot of votes to peel off, y'know?

I do think it's peculiar that the state polling (in a number of states) seems to be closer than the national polling, even within pollsters.

It's weird how Rassy's national polls are moving in Obama's favor whereas his state polls appear to be moving in McCain's favor. Oh well. It's not like Obama is going to lose Wisconsin so who cares?

I sure hope you vote. (Yes you can, and you can register on Election Day.)

I registered to vote through one of those annoying student organizations that harasses everyone yet my name doesn't appear in the Wisconsin Voter Public Access database. So I figure I might have to re-register to vote on election day.

If it's like Minnesota it's the easiest thing in the world. Show them your student ID, they'll check the list of people residing in the dorms, if you're there, they register you.

Hey, you get to vote for a gay!

Why not? It was about 3 points more Dem in 04, 0.3 points more Rep in 00, 1-2 points more Dem in 92 and 96. It was far more Dem in 88, but then 88 was just an incredibly weird election.
Besides, this looks more like 0-1 points more Dem than (what I assume to be, though I'm hoping for a higher result) the final result.
