Just to be clear. I created this thread because I saw 'breaking news' and I knew this was going to be an issue. I do not think that one thug has any meaning to who Obama is or who all blacks are.

However this happened in West PA, the place that McCain is pinning his hopes, and of course he is hoping for whites to deliver, especially conservative white Dems. This story is likely to be big in the local news and is not going to help.

Guys, come on now. You know I wasn't saying that. I just find it especially ironic that the people that are such hardcore Obama fanatics go against his main message. It makes as much sense as people protesting against war/promoting peace using violence to make a point.

as things stand now, I'm far from convinced that this woman's account is entirely truthful (believe me : a carving by a mugger would be MUCH uglier) and nobody seems to have picked up on the story except for conservative blogs.

I guess KDKA-TV (CBS Pittsburgh), WTAE-TV (ABC Pittsburgh), WPXI-TV (NBC Pittsburgh), the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette are all now conservative blogs.

This girl is clearly a 'true believer'. She took time off from college and moved from TX to PA to help McCain. That isn't your average campaign volunteer who drops by the HQ to stuff envelopes.

Not shocking really. Especially since nObama told his supporters to "get in the face" of Republicans. I guess this is one way of doing it and I expect this sort of stuff to become more common over the next 4-8 years. This is a hate crime, except for the fact that under the law you have to be white to commit one.

This should not be unexpected either, Obama is advocating a culture of street violence and overall "gansta attitude" telling his supporters to get in McCain's supporters faces.  This guy thinks all of America is a turf war, it's truly sickening but given Obama's past and his friends should not be unexpected
