Nice! Even accounting for margins of error and internal problems, it's hard to see how McCain can win here when he's down so much in polling.

It was conducted Oct 16, the same day as the Missouri poll showing him up big.  That sample had Obama up 10 or so nationally, maybe more. Lets see where the Sunday polls are, as we know McCain had a decent night yesterday.  If he is behind in those...

With just Virginia and the Gore and Kerry states, this election is locked up...nevermind Colorado.

probably not.  VA is semi-safe Obama at this point.  McCain flipping the bird at NoVa was a critical mistake, though he likely would have lost the state anyway.

Wrong. An outlier by definition is not something that is in sync with other pollsters

CNN/Time O +10
 Public Policy Polling O +8
Suffolk University O +12
Survey USA O +10

McCain has collapsed here big time.

Joke pollsters and the polls are not consistant with the tracking (since the state polls were earlier)

categorically rejecting all polls in favor of one's own intuition puts oneself out on quite a limb.

FWIW, I don't buy +10 in VA, but VA is becoming the story of this election.
