I was never impressed with Gabu.. he was alright I suppose but nothing special.  There are so many I would consider serious competitors for the 'best poster' spot.. BRTD, obviously - I used to say I was the heart and soul of the forum, but I am not.  That honor clearly goes to BRTD.  I'm more of a bizarre addendum, which I suppose might be a preferable position considering.   

Others.. historically I always rated migrendel tops, but he's long gone it seems.  Certainly Duke is hilarious at times, as well as one other right-winger, but I can't remember his name now.  Torie is a personal favorite of mine.. kindred spirits but for the Horatio Alger taint about the man.  Very satisfying writer though.  Honorable mentions.. angus, Trondheim - sometimes funny hippies.  Oh and lest I forget - Mikado often amuses me, but I suspect its as much for the quotations as the actual posts.  I'm sure I have forgotten one or two more.. forgive me.
