What you liked best about: Dick Gephardt

There have been things I really DIDN'T like about him.  But that's not the purpose of this thread.  There is much I liked.  For example,

I agree now with most of his positions on trade, though I didn't in the 90's. 

He was also fairly prescient in recognizing our need to engage Eastern Europe in the waning days of Communism by sending aid.

I really respect that Republicans almost universally considered him a man who always kept his agreements and promises...something that isn't terribly common on Capitol Hill.

Any Gephardt fans out there?  And if so, why?

i cant think of anything positive.  he is the worst kind of democrat.
