In the 19 states that voted for John Kerry as it stands

HOUSE
Republicans 71 Democrats 140
SENATE
Republicans 7 Democrats 29 Independents 2

Democrats have targeted 22 seats listed below and want to win at least 12. possible? will the republicans have less than 60 republicans in kerry turf that he won in 2004. is te gop facing extinction in NY, IL and even Pennslyvania due to registration increases.

PA 6 and 15 are slightly more than just "Lean Republican" (especially 15).

registration has increased by 34,000 votes in pa 15 thats why its lean republican.

republican turnout is going to be low. the state is a complete blowout.

Those races are all overrated in terms of competitiveness.

The DCCC has dropped $1 million in IL-11, which they're unlikely to have done if the race were "Likely Democratic." Reichert still has an edge because of his personal popularity and Burner being a poor fit for that district.

All the races in "Lean Republican" should be in the Likely Republican category. The national Dems haven't engaged in any of those races and  none of the Democratic candidates in those races are top-tier.
