I hereby introduce the "Social Affairs Act", that creates a Department and Secretary of Social Affairs

Social Affairs Act
The Department of Social Affairs shall be fully responsible for the management, funding allocation, and well-being of all government programs related to: Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Energy, Environment, Health, Housing, Labor, Transportation, and Welfare. The department shall be run by a secretary that is nominated by the President and appointed by the Senate.

I suggest Al Realpolitik be appointed to this position.

There's been a lot of question of who's responsible for managing certain departments, and we basically decided that if the president thought it was a problem, he could nominate a Secretary of Labor, add "Education and Welfare" to the title, and the LEW Secretary could do this.

No, it isn't needed.

Unnecessary government. I will proudly vote against this act.
