Makes the other result even more dubious.

How much did Rossi lose by in 2004?  Like 5 votes?

I think it was 126, in other words an insurmountable amount that made it so we didn't go for a third recount.

Yeah is this the same poll that had McCain within 4 points of Obama?

3% for "other" (which are pretty much all independents). What are they going to do when they realize there are only two names on the ballot?

This sounds like a bad sample. Hopefully things are that bad. I really would be quite saddened if every election was won by a Republican for me, rep, gov., and president.

126 in an election where nearly 3 million votes were cast is insurmountable by recount?  What qualifies as surmountable? A 1 vote margin?

Don't you still cry yourself to sleep over Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004?

Gregiore is going to have to tie her campaign very close to Obama's if she is going to win this.  She has to make sure that very few Obama voters also vote for Rossi.

She already has.  And it's Gregoire, not Gregiore or Gregorie.

Rossi is also tying himself to Obama. For example, he has this big electronic billboard in Pierce County that says in a cycle "Voting for Obama?"/"We need change in Olympia too!"/"Vote Dino Rossi for Governor!"

Obama has to denounce that.
