I guess pro-life means forcing other people to have babies after they are raped, and not convicting the rapists.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/8/20552/56258/308/591588

Guess which state has the highest number of rapes per capita?

That says the Wasilla Police Department, not the Mayor.

Yeah, well she fired people for plenty of reasons, how about firing them for not doing their job?

Well, stop creating stupid misleading title threads and post things accurately and then we'll answer that question!

If she had disagreed, I think she would have fired the chief, or at least told him to not say that. She certainly fired enough people for not being loyal to her.

So, once again, Jfern attributes something to Palin that isn't necessarily factual. Surprising stuff!

That's asking far too much of this guy. He was once a funny joke but now he's just irritating.

There's no evidence that she did. Who's to say that space aliens didn't land on the moon yesterday?

Anyways, she fired the previous police chief for not being one of her cronies, and hired this hack.

Why would there be evidence about a private conversation?  That's a ridiculous comparison.

I mean, we can't say one way or the other that Palin didn't talk to  her police chief about this.

You care committing a ridiculous logical fallacy sir.

Read that and come back.  Otherwise you just send the debate down the toilet.

Now for the REAL story:

"Q. If Roe v. Wade were overturned and states could once again prohibit abortion, in your view, to what extent should abortion be prohibited in Alaska?"

"Palin:  Under this hypothetical scenario, it would not be up to the governor to unilaterally ban anything. It would be up to the people of Alaska to discuss and decide how we would like our society to reflect our values. "

http://community.adn.com/adn/node/130090

Sounds to me like someone unwilling to impose her personal view.

You fail in almost every criticism because you distort the truth. The best part is when you're owned on it and you go grasping at straws (like right now).

Governor's can't ban things anyway, that's actually the type of wishy-washy answer that all politicians give to those questions.

Get back to me when you can craft a sentence in proper English.

Tonight at dinner, I overhead at the table behind me, an "obvious" Daily Kos poster who was 40 and still lived with his mother ("his mama made the best rice pudding") exclaim many things.

My favorite, however, was when he said "I hope Palin goes to jail for five years and gets gangraped in prison."

Maybe this is what he was talking about.

Well now that you edited your post, I can understand what you're saying! You're still a bad, bad boy for, once again, being dishonest and putting my response in the Goldmine when you knew your original sentence didn't make sense.

Anyway, I don't know if she ever criticized him. That's not the point though. You're stating something that she doesn't necessarily believe. That's being dishonest.

By this logic, you could claim that Palin does, in fact, eat babies because she is not a vegetarian.
