I like what I see!

Well, Ohio is scary, but we have other options open to us if that one doesn't work out...

Also, it looks like MD might have been right about FL afterall.

I've been waiting for it to come around the way it seems....Obama isn't exactly the most popular guy to win Ohio...especially since I know a number of Kerry voters voting for McCain this time because of Obama's race.

not quite sure about that...  I think Obama will win VA and CO and NM and IA and maybe even FL before he wins Ohio

Another note - Once again, PA has a higher than normal amount of undecided voters.

white working classers who don't like black people but more of them than not will swallow their pride and do the right thing come Nov.  we have some of them in my extended family.  I tend to dislike them.

There's no way that McCain could be ahead by 7 in Ohio and behind by 3 in Colorado.

Haha, good luck on that "swallow their pride" idea.

Sure. Obama has never been popular here...has a race problem.

Colorado is a much better fit for Obama, probably less of a race problem...and the convention was just held there.

You are right about the convention being held there, that might be a little of it. My point is, I sincerely doubt McCain does 10 points better on a relative basis in Ohio on election day than he does in Colorado. I think Ohio is probably more like McCain by 3 or 4 now, and Colorado may be dead even.

Now I would just like to check up on NM, IA, MN & WI to make sure that all is well.

Note the lack of gender gaps in Florida and Ohio....

A few things I noticed...

- Obama's favorable numbers have surged upward in VA.

- Obama is dominating McCain among hispanics in Florida.

- Ohio (according this poll) just looks absolutely awful for Obama.

- McCain is showing real signs of life in PA but will have to figure out how to not be crushed among Indies if he is going to win it.

Actually, they show that these poll results are likely to be garbage.  Garbage that looks believable, but garbage nonetheless.  Sometimes you just gotta call a spade a spade...

Anyway, we'll see.  We need to wait a little bit right now.  Even though I think I have a good idea where things are at this moment.

McCain was up 53/42 with white white women, which was a turnaround.
