danville is gross at this point.  pretty run down and ghetto. 

when i was living in the nc, id drive to danville every sunday afternoon to pick up some lotto tickets at a place called big al's, right off of highway 29.  real classy place.  lotto tickets in vending machines, and dirty magazines and condoms behind the counter.  there was also large amount of jesus graffiti in the bathroom.

if one must move to southside virginia, id suggest martinsville.  they need your dollars there.

as for the question at hand, of course the law should be repealed.  if i see a particular liquor id like to try, i like to first by the airline bottle of it so i know if ill like it or not before i invest the money into buying a big bottle.
