Like most internet communities, a broad spectrum with quite a few FFs with excellent analysis and detailed information, quite a few HPs, and quite a few people who are simply kooks or idiots.
In addition, also tend to be partisan hacks. That doesn't make them horrible people, but it does tend to lend itself to rationalizations of totally inappropriate group behavior. Unfortunately, this year, that included some especially ugly stuff.
But I don't support the idea that they're any more prone to that than any other fevered mob.
