Intellectual honesty is almost always jettisoned for partisan gain, and they're willing to rationalize a brutal smear on a 17-year-old girl (while blaming her mom for daring to enter politics and thus open her children up to such attacks).

If you took a group of college-level journalists and told them it was cool to not fact check their stories, Daily Kos is pretty much what you'd come up with.
