I think we have established that this inexperienced far right-wing ideologue is quite a liar. She has a lot in common with her soul mate John McCain.

Is there anything she hasn't done?

I think she did voluntarily give up on the bridge when it became a laughing-stock, but she was an initial supporter and she does seem to be mis-representing her position (unless I'm missing something)

Well that bridge does lead to an airport, which is why Palin supported it. Of course she gave up on federal funding for it once it became obvious it wasn't to be.

I think this forum cares about Palin about fifty times more than they care about McCain.

Probably rightly so, haha.  McCain is a known quantity.

Is inexperienced, right-wing ideologue the subconsciously mutually agreed upon talking-points do y'all think, or is there something else out there?  Because that sounds about where the left on this forum will end up on this.

I'd like to push to get "kooky" thrown in there too just because I like that word and I think it's funny that she enjoys moose burgers.

There's nothing wrong with that, actually. I like Elk Stew, Buffalo Jerky and other gamey treats. She just has really fu cked up proposals. ...I would also say that, though I must disclaim that I am not really thinking here, is that when an apparently sexually attractive woman is apparantly a patriarchist, it does seem like she doesn't have that much self-respect. Then again, that's just a passing thought.

This is the most substantive thing against her so far, unless troopergate pans out.  That said, it's hardly the stuff that derails a campaign.

Palin just got busted even harder. The first thing she tells us about herself is a lie.

I like how they refer to Ketchikan as a city.

I think this was on Wiki, and the same answer I gave when you asked the question a few days ago.

I like how they refer to Ketchikan as a city.

That's because it is a city.

By the way, it wasn't exactly a bridge to nowhere.  It was a bridge from downtown Ketchikan to an island of 50 residents with (more importantly) the city's airport.  Not worth building a bridge costing hundreds of millions of dollars - but if a bridge could be built for ten or twenty million, perhaps worthy.  The geography of the area probably wouldn't allow a cheaper alternative to be built, though.
