PiT (The Physicist),
It s happening and I told you so.
SmileySmiley

I try not to get my hopes up too much. Wink Anyway, I'm hitting the outlying parts early on. Later on, I'll be campaigning in RPP country.

Thank you, Governor Duke. Tomorrow, I'll be campaigning in Memphis, Tennessee, the capital of the Southeast. I would be honored if you joined me on stage there.

Let me know what time and I'll see if I'm around. I'd like to join you as well. We need to make a swing through Charleston as well.

How does 5 PM EST sound?

Sounds good for now. If things change, I'll holla at cha boy.

PiT (The Physicist) greets supporters near the Hernando de Soto Bridge in Memphis, Tennessee. Here he is joined by AHDuke99, the Governor of the Dirty South.

Good day to everyone here in Memphis, the capital of this great region. I'm sorry that the event was delayed. I lost track of the time while admiring the scenery of this great city. Wink

Anyway, I would like to tell everyone about why I'm here, & why I believe what I believe. I came upon my beliefs because I believe that as human beings, it is our duty to ourselves to develop our strengths on our own. We need less government involvement to allow us to grow in the areas that we want to grow.

That's why I came to join the Regional Protection Party. I support the great regionalists of the Southeast, & of the other regions of Atlasia, in their fight against the federal behemoth. We need less federal government in our lives so that we can become better, more independent human beings! We need less federal government so that we can maintain the individualistic traditions of the people of this great land!

I don't mean to speak overlong though. Today, the great governor of this region, who yesterday endorsed my candidacy, would like to say a few words. Please welcome Governor Duke!

Thanks buddy. And welcome! How yall doing? I am hear with my friend and next Senator of the Dirty South, PiT (The Physicist)! You know, when I was sitting outside on the cobble streets in Charleston after church this afternoon, I couldn't help but think about how wonderful our region is. Our beaches, golf courses, oceans, cuisine, hospitality and culture is known worldwide. People travel from sea to shining sea to take in the sights, tastes and smells of this beautiful area of the world. But what makes this place so wonderful? It's our people. It's OUR people, not the federal government. I want people like PiT making decisions for his home region, not whippersnappers like Xahar in the MIDLEAST.

As I said, Bacon KIng is a good guy and he's served our region well, but he doesn't understand the basic fundamental attribute that makes the Dirty South who we are: it's our region rights. Doing away with them will simply cause us to lose that unique draw and we become blended in with lesser regions. We don't need more pork fat in the federal government. We need a guy who's smooth, steady, and rock solid at the same time; a guy who can stand up for his home region and push forward an agenda that benefits his fellow man. That man, my friends, is PiT.

PiT knows what it's like to be a southerner. PiT knows what it's like to stroll along our beaches, eat our divine food, and eye our southern blonde women. He knows the region needs its rights without the feds peering into everything we chose to do. We want freedom and liberty, not Big Brother telling us what is required of us.

Fight for the Dirty Dirty. FIght for what she has and what she needs. Fight with me and help send PiT to the Senate so our voices can be heard! Thank you all and God bless the Dirty South!

Well said, Governor Duke. I'll be heading through Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, September 13th. If that day works for Senator DownWithTheLeft, of course.

I don't mean to speak for Duke, though I guess it's a reference to how Xahar is more active in Mideastern politics than he is in his own region's politics.

It's a cheap shot at Xahar's dealings with other regions. Midleast was taken by ACC fans who called the Big East the Big Least.

RPP Vice-Chairman PiT is about to give a speech at his next campaign stop.  Introducing him today will be Sen. DWTL

Welcome all to our beautiful Dirty South on this beautiful day.  You know, I left the senate last August and thought that perhaps I'd never be back.  I thought conservatism in Atlasia was dead, I thought the regions were an afterthought.  That was until a few months ago.  It started as only a few of us, but we were determined to make sure the Dirty South would rise again!

We threatened, we complained, but most of all in the end we got down what we needed to.  We defeated the End to Regional Senate Elections Amendment, and then we topped it off by sending me to the senate.  Most thought it improbable, including myself, but in the end we came in first place!!!

Why?  Well, the answer is simple.  At first, Duke, SPC, and myself were fighting a lonely battle.  But then like a gift from the heavens, a new resident came to the Dirty South.  A newbie a politics, a fresh face to give a new face to the movement.  He recruited seasoned Atlasians like Fmr. Sens. BrandonH and MasterJedi, he found new Atlasians ready to take up the cause like Daniel Adams and Dead0man.  Without him, perhaps conservatism in Atlasia would have died.  So now, without further delay, I give to you THE NEXT SENATOR FROM THE DIRTY SOUTH, PiT!!!

PiT (The Physicist) appears to meet supporters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It's good to see everyone here. As I'm sure we all know, Senator DownWithTheLeft is a strong supporter, & a good friend. We don't see eye to eye on some issues, but friends oftentimes don't. Nevertheless, we don't let petty issues get in the way of working together.

If you elect me Senator, I'll do the same thing there. I'll look past lesser disagreements with my fellow Senators to work with them on the causes that I believe to be worth championing. Regions' Rights is first & foremost among them. However, I will also be a champion of a strong, but not jingoistic or aggressive foreign policy. I'll work to make military spending more efficient. I'll also work to reform the game, whenever the opportunity avails itself.

I must thank everyone for their support here. As the esteemed Senator said, I also must thank them for threatening to secede. It was that that put the wheels of history in motion, & I rode in that car, & rode in it. Eventually, it deposited me here, on the campaign trail, among the great people of Charlotte, of North Carolina, & of the Southeast!

I may not have the experience, both in Atlasia & in the real world, that many other Senators have, but if elected Senator, I will work hard to fight for what I believe in. That is, the preservation of the regional identity. The preservation of that which sets apart a citizen in North Carolina & a citizen in Massachusetts. If you want your children to grow up with a Southeastern Senator, & not a Senator who is incidentally Southeastern, I ask you to support me & send another supporter of Regions' Rights to the Senate.

Good day & Dave bless Atlasia!

I would guess that it hurts Bacon King since his base is not as cohesive as mine is. On the other hand, Gporter is closer to me ideologically, so I'm not really sure.

RPP Vice Chairman PiT is about to go stumping. Governor Duke takes the stage to introduce him.

Afternoon Charleston! How yall doing? Nice to see so many of you came out on a Sunday afternoon to listen to little old me talk about some things when you could've been out on the water or golfing...I know I would be doing that if it were up to me. All jokes aside, thank you. You know, I'm really proud of this region. I'm proud of what she stands for. When you helped elect me a few months ago, she was in dire need of some help. There was more going on in the local nursing home than in the Southeast Region. Things were a mess. We were the laughing stock of this country. But things changed. Mr. Moderate specifically mentioned the strides we have made in the past few months. Someone is noticing.

But I'm not here to highlight mine nor my current allies accomplishments in this region. I'm not here to toot my own horn or give you reasons of why I'm so great (that will be in about a month or so), I'm here to tell you about a little friend of mine.

In a few short weeks, we'll be doing our duties as Americans and going to the polls to vote for our next Senator. We have two good men running. Two men who love this region dearly. Two men who will stand up for her interests. But there's one man who maybe, just maybe loves this place a little more than the other. Since I've met him, I've been surprised at his work ethic, attention to detain, and determination. He's helped build the Regional Protection Party from an idea to a reality. He stands for region's rights, something we Charlestonians can relate to... and wants to keep the federal government from telling us all how to live our lives. Under his steady leadership in the Senate, I am confident that the Dirty South and all of Atlasia will prosper. I think that this is just the beginning of a wonderful career for this fresh face from far away .... and did I mention he was also part of the reason our region has become one of the largest, most active regions in Atlasia? We can get things done, and he'd be a terrific asset to the Senate.

It is with great pleasure I introduce to you my friend, my colleague, and the next Senator from the Dirty South, PiT!

Following his introduction by Governor Duke, Candidate for Senate PiT comes out to greet supporters in front of the residence of Major James Ladson.

First of all, I would like to thank Governor Duke for introducing me not once, but twice. I don't believe I have said this, but as many of you have been able to guess, I am enthusiastically endorsing him in his bid for re-election. Likewise, I am endorsing Daniel Adams in his bid to be elected Lieutenant Governor. He has a lot of promise, & the office of Lieutenant Governor is a great opportunity for him to get acquainted with Atlasian politics.

As far as the Senate goes, nothing would make me happier than to be elected alongside Dead0man in the Midwest & AndrewCT in the Northeast. With them, I would like to join the other great citizens who are members of our Senate in ushering in a great new era dominated by thought-provoking debate, & where every bill is thoroughly thought out before it's voted on. Lewis has contributed greatly to this process, though I fear that he doesn't like Regional Elections enough for my taste. Tongue I would also like to give a special shoutout to Senators DownWithTheLeft & Torie. In this department, they have been two of our hardest working Senators, & deserve their due.

I have spoken overmuch about other people just now. However, you can oftentimes learn about someone by who that person admires. I can tell you more directly though about myself. I strongly believe in maintaining the power of the regions vis-à-vis the federal government. I may not try to bring back the districts anytime soon though. Wink I recognize, after all, that both regional & national Senate seats have their distinct advantages, & believe that both should be allowed to exist. Indeed, I may choose to support the Senate being divided into two separate bodies, such that bills need have support of both a majority of the people & a majority of the regions. I may also be interested in giving power to the Governors with which to keep the federal government in check.

Good night everybody, & Dave bless Atlasia!
