Throwing off the press by bringing in all the ones on the short list and even some who weren't, while at the same time creating buzz and chatter about who it is.  Gotta love it.  

Even if it's not Palin, if McCain's going to have all the possibles there she would have the farthest flight.  Others like Pawlenty, Romney, Cantor, Ridge, and Lieberman could make the flight within the morning and not be too jetlagged.  

If it is Palin ...  then for McCain's sake I hope she's more than just a pretty face.

Oh, now there's a campaign slogan -- McCain/Palin: More than just pretty faces.
