I've always been a big fan of Joe Biden.  He's called a gaffe machine, but honestly for the most part he tells the truth rather than give the politically correct response.  He's currently the only electable Democrat with balls and cunningness to hit back if the GOP fires a shot at him.

I guess I'm now classified as part of the Obama VP bounce.

Could I ask if the following could be said?

Obama and Biden is like Blair and Prescott. The New Democrats aligned with the Old Democrats.

Some people say... "Biden is a gaffe-machine!" However, over Biden's career, going back to '72 mind you, I've seen two, maybe three statements that would qualify as gaffe's. Am I the only one that thinks that Kaine would be an even bigger threat of committing gaffe's then Biden, a seasoned politician?

Obama's stock just went up in my book.  I think Obama made a great pick in Joe Biden.  Definitely increases my chances of voting for him.  I just wish the ticket were reversed.

Biden is a gaffe-machine, and that's one of the reasons I like him so much.  Self-censorship for political gain isn't one of his strongest suits Smiley

A little disappointed with this choice. Its solid, but also safe. But at least it shores up some badly needed areas for O.

One of the better picks he could have made in my book. President Biden isn't a unappealing prospect.

This would be a strong ticket if it was flipped upside down.

Biden's by far the best pick of the three names floated in the last week. He also brings a lot of Clinton's positives without all her negatives. I think it's a pretty good choice.

Well, if all goes as planned, Biden will probably never be President as he will be in his mid-70s by 2016 and likely will opt out of running.
