The latest news now is that Congresswoman Jones has not died, but is in  critical condition.

But reports had come out earlier that she had in fact died.

You know in a situation like this you think people would be careful of what they say staff or media. What I heard on Fox is that she is alive but in critical condition and there is little to no brain activity which could mean that she is brain dead. They also said that it is inoperable so all they could possibly do is stablize her but nothing more. This is definately a sad situation and my prayers are with her and her family.

RIP, Congresswoman.  Although I disagreed with her on many issues, she was a good person and a great speaker.  Any ideas on her replacement?

I just moved into her district, but was proud she was representing us.  I was a huge Obama supporter but admired the heck out of her.  Very sad to hear this.

Good point, DWTL.  I disagreed with her on this but greatly admired her decision.  it did take courage.

She will be missed thats for sure. Ohio has defiantely lost a very principled and strong representative. She never wavered from her core beleifs whether it was opposing the Iraq war when it was unpopular to do so or supporting Hillary when everyone thought she should've supported Obama.
