This write-up is hilariously bad - it says Obama 45-44, when the topline says Obama 46-45.  And then there's this:

7* Okay….if Eric Cantor is selected to run as the Democrats Vice Presidential nominee, would you be more or less likely to vote for Barack Obama for President?

12% More likely

23% Less likely

54% No impact

10% Not sure

8* How likely is it that Barack Obama will select Eric Cantor as his Vice-Presidential running mate?

1% Very likely

18% Somewhat likely

30% Not very likely

16% Not at all likely

34% Not sure

I'm not sure either.

lol.

Well anyway, the state remains a total tossup. Although if somebody put a gun to my head, I'd guess that McCain maintains it in the fall.

VA doesn't have party registration - as to how many people are registered, who knows.

Historically, party ID in VA runs a couple of points more Republican than Democrat (I know it was that in 2000 and 2004), but that may have flipped in 2006.  Whatever, treat it as about even.
