The Seisei's opinion of our party was not very good at the beginning.

Thank the possibly existent higher power for this.

I hope than he changed his opinion of us.
I have no negative opinion towards this party and never have. There are many members of this party that I hold in very high esteem.

While others you hold in low esteem. Tongue

but those a few and far between. I can say for sure that the distinguished SoFA is not one I hold in low esteem.

I vote we endorse Al, Xahar (duh), Jas (even if he didn't ask), Sensei. Evilmex, you can still run a write-in campaign. In which case I vote to endorse you as well, otherwise I'll abstain on endorsing Colin or the Happy or CK write-in campaigns, against all the other declared candidates.

EDIT: Where did I get the idea that Happy is a write-in from?

A note on Colin: He was a great reforming president, and he's a good active intelligent Senator. I'm perfectly prepared to overlook his avatar and economic stances, and he will receive a highish preference from me.

A write in campaign for Lt. Governor or Senate because I am shooting for Lt. Governor with Xahar.

Screw you Sensei! (how about now?) j/k

Anyways, I vote to endorse Al, Xahar, hannibal, Sensei and I suppose Jas.

It would obviously be inappropriate for me to vote to endorse myself, though I would obviously welcome the endorsement of the Party.

I'll also add that I'm endorsing Jas, in a personal capacity.

Bump.

We need to finish this convention, find the structure of the party and make a platform someday.

Since nobody talks, I'll propose something. My propositions are in bold.

1. The head of the party administration shall be the General Secretary.
2. The head of relationship with others parties shall be the Chairman
3. Elections for the post of Chairman shall take place every four months.
4. Elections for the post of General Secretary shall take place every four months
5. Chairman and General Secretary shall be elected by the membership.
6. If the position of Chairman falls vacant, the General Secretary shall hold an election for Chairman to fill the remainder of the term.
7. If multiple candidates from the Social Democratic Party are running for an office, a primary election shall be held among the membership.
8. A member can be excluded of party votes by a majority vote of the membership.
9. The bylaws may be amended by a majority vote.

I think than we can debate that. That is a beginning.

Huh? I don't understand your comment.

I don't understand your question and the fact than nobody see that before 20 days is a good indicator of the activity of the party.

The party is inactive. The Convention never finished. It would be great if somebody care about party rules.

P.S. you should add if you don't put in a say of party rules then you can't be in this party.

If you do that, then you're saying no one can ever join the party after the rules are finalized.

A party run by Xahar being inactive?  That is kind of amusing.  The fact that it seems to be failing was predictable though.

Failing? LOL.

I will point out that we're more active than the NLC or JCP. The NLC, in particular, hasn't done anything other than its presidential primaries in a year.

I really wouldn't waste my time with Xahar. I've realized that Xahar is in the phase of his childhood where he thinks the world revolves around him and everything that happens happens because he caused it to.

If you think that your party rivals ours in activity or success at the moment you are kidding yourself.  Hell even when we lost the Mideast governor race we gained a position

I find it surprising (well, not really) that despite your years in Atlasia, you don't realize that parties haven't mattered since 2004.

I wasn't here in 2004 and I don't spend my life reading about Atlasia's past like you do.  However, I realize that without my party I would not have been elected to the senate in August.
