60%/40%/15%

His comment last week, saying "I believe Senator Obama would rather lose a war then lose a campaign lowered it another 5% because it clearly showed he'd say anything to win.

Way back, in 2000, like 85%.

During the primary, 65% or so.  Now, 54.5%.  Arbitrary added decimal woo.

My current feelings about McCain are too conflicted or disconnected to measure in two dimensions. Mostly, I just want to avert my eyes and avoid passing judgment. He wants to be President and he's doing what has to be done to get there. I don't think that means he's a great person pretending to be a bad one, but he's a differently "good" or "bad" one when he's not running for President, and I don't want to have the Presidential candidate McCain has become taint my opinion of what he's done or will have done with the other 90% of his life, assuming he loses.

i don't really get what the percentages mean.  are they our likelihood of voting for him?  then it'd be about 0% 0%. I suspect they aren't percentages at all, but sort of our own personal likability ratings... or maybe rating of the campaign's effectiveness.  I dunno.  What are we trying to gauge here?
