This isn't very good for McCain at all.

McCain: 52
Obama: 31
Barr: 6
Unsure: 11

Don't be too optimistic that NC will go to Obama.  You'll be disappointed when it is called early for McCain.

And this whole time I thought "NC-10" was the name of a television channel, not the CD.

Knowing the history of this area of North Carolina, Obama has 31% now and will have 31% come election day.

Uh, what's notable about this? Kerry got around 33% in this district.

A 21-point lead in a district which Bush won by 34 points isn't great news for him, but:

1. It's hard to poll a CD.
2. Democratic pollster

NC-10 gave Bush a 67%-33% margin over Kerry in 2004, in 2000 he defeated Gore here 65%-34% in the District.  NC-10 is less than 10% black (9.2%) so I suppose the Obama effect here would be rather negligible.
