Curent estimates of in general society range from 24-48-28 to 19-40-41. Clearly, there are more conservatives than liberals, but that has always been the case, even in the hayday of progressive politics in the 30s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Exit polls of the last three or four elections range from 19-23 L, 44-50 M, and 28-33 C.

Moderate.

I don't think there are necessarily more conservatives than liberals, I just think conservatives are (kind of ironically) more likely to be taking part in the system.

I think it has more to do with stigmatization of the term "liberal" that has not been applied to "conservative" in the same manner.

Liberal.

I think there are probably equal numbers of liberals and conservatives, but Republicans have done a good enough job of demonizing the word "liberal" that a lot of liberals will call themselves moderate in a poll.

None, they're all prone to extreme anti-intellectualism when the facts do not suit their opinions.

I'm on the fence between "Moderate" and "Liberal" but I ended up picking Liberal.

Moderate libertarian. Socially moderate-liberal (strong liberal streak) and fiscally moderate-conservative (strong conservative streak).

If these choices reflect modern behaviors, then I'm split between moderate and NOTA. But if it's referring to their root causes, then conservative. You know, small government, wise spending, low taxes, federalism, no neocons.

Interesting question.

In practice I'm a social "liberal", but more of an economic "moderate"
