Actually how "above the law" you are is directly related to how much money you have.  OJ Simpson taught us that.

It's too bad Starr couldn't solve "The Hillary Problem" then, forcing Obama to do it over 8 years later. If he had ruined Hillary then we would be SO much better off today. NOt that it matters now, Hillary Clinton's life has been ruined, mission accomplished.

How could Starr have ruined Hillary's life? If anything, he made her more popular by creating a means by which she could relate to divorced women and women in unhappy marriages.

men cheat on their wives all the time. Although this is immoral, it's not illegal, and he did not need to be investigated for it. (note: Clinton did many other questionable things before, during, and after his presidency that did need to be investigated, but this was not one of them.) It was Starr's desperation to get Clinton that made it such a huge public issue.
