MA state senator accused of being a serial sex predator

From what I hear, this is actually making news across the country, but I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, so I figured I'd forward this along.

Long story short:
(1.) State Senator visits a park in Lowell in the middle of the afternoon.
(2.) State Senator sees; approaches woman.
(3.) State Senator informs woman, “Oh baby, you’re so beautiful, your body is so perfect.”
(4.) State Senator goes in for a grab.
(5.) Woman gets distressed; calls for help.
(6.) Police approach and apprehend Marzilli.  Marzilli claims he was just "flirting."
(7.) Police ask for ID.  Marzilli identifies himself as a fellow lawmaker, Rep. Marty Walsh.
(8.) Police do a background on Walsh.  While they do this, Marzilli flees.
(9.) After a long chase, police finally catch and subdue Marzilli after threatening the use of pepper spray.
(10.) Marzilli breaks down in tears (Craig style) claiming his life is over.

A number of women have come forward since the story broke, claiming that Marzilli did similar things to them.  He's a charmer, that one.

All this comes just after the Middlesex County DA swept a similar allegation about Marzilli under the rug a couple weeks ago.  Whoops!

Thankfully, there are challengers to Marzilli filed for the September primary.  Not that he may even make it that long—the Senate is discussing expulsion.

I object to his description as a 'serial sex predator' - at least from what I've read so far.  Basically he approached a woman, complimented her on her body (a little creepy but not illegal - at least it shouldn't be) and then tried to touch her.  I thought it was something serious, like going after children or tying people up.

So what'd he do?  Touch a woman's boob?  Who cares?  I could think of much worse things.  Being male should not be a crime.

Yeah, if the bitch doesn't like it it's her fault!

If it wasn't clear in my description, after the woman declined his "advances," he continued to make them.  The harassment continued until the woman was actually in the presence of the police.

This kind of behavior actually sounds like a mental illness. He's never harassed coworkers or friends before, but now he's taking it to Creep Threat: Orange on the dirty streets of Lowell, which isn't even in his part of the state? I think he's got serious problems that aren't covered by the term "scumbag."

And no, party has nothing to do with it, he's going out of office and will be replaced by another Democrat.
