Most liberal Southern state

Oh the most liberal state in the south. There isn't a true liberal state in the south. Even FL is very conservative. I've lived here and know that the northern half of the state is just as conservative as Alabama. Overall it is the most liberal by presidential numbers, however, the Republican party is as productive as it is in Texas as far as the state level goes. The most liberal state in the south is still probably FL, but it's almost as conservative as Virginia, North Carolina, or Georgia.
