Neither is much else, apparently.  But you have a point.  Courts have ruled threats, not only of death but of physical or psychological injury, to be abuse.  If the threat is carried out, then it becomes abuse with battery.  Battery being the physical action.

Still, your title is misleading, since the anchor in the video you posted wasn't calling for much of anything except a commercial break, maybe.  And I don't think you took it in the spirit intended.  However tasteless, it was meant in humor.  Are you about the infringement of free speech are aren't you?  At times, you seem to post that you despise the political correctness of some posters, particularly those on the right.  But when the speech offends you personally, even when it is clearly made in tasteless jest, you feel the need not only to post about it, but to create a thread.

It's worth arguing about.  I say that the police state mentality is just as scary when it originates on the left as when it comes from the right, and that her statement, however tasteless, doesn't merit kidnapping.

Well if she is an anchor, I have never seen her before, and I watch Fox almost all the time if no sporting event is on TV. It appears as if she is a "contributer" which isn't as high up as an anchor, and they know less about her. Anyway, what she said was terrible whoever she is.

It was a gaffe (accidently speaking the truth) that should get Fox in big trouble and this woman off the air.  Her "both if we could" comment deserves to have her professionally ruined.
