Rutherford Hayes runs for reelection. He keeps the same running mate.

He faces the same democratic opponents as there were in real life.

Does Hayes win or does he fall short of a second term? I think that Hayes wins clearly, there was nothing really wrong with the country during that time. What do you think?

Hayes narrowly wins, just like Garfield did in RL. Except this time he wins NY and his victory is thus undisputed.
