The article is intellectually incorrect.  They didn't vote against the resolution.  They voted against tabling the motion to reconsider the resolution.  (For the required info not reported properly in the article, visit Gov Track.)

but they did vote for it before they voted against it. And I will keep repeating it because u damn republicans did it to Kerry. Hypocrites.

No, the Republicans were looking to waste some time by reconsidering the vote.  Then, a Democrat pushed to table the motion to reconsider it and the Republicans voted against that in an effort to force reconsideration of the vote.

The tactics of this Republican minority is disgusting and much worse than the Democrats in the Republican-majority house.  "Here, we can't be the majority anymore, so we'll just screw everything up and try to blame it on the Democrats"
