But we're supposed to believe that Obama has busted out from a 45-45 tie in the last CBS/NYT poll released Wednesday to lead by 11 four days later.

Really, the NYT needs to register as as a 527 for Obama.

IIRC, a real pollster made a poll on what people thought about Obama's latest Wright-speech and the results were not strong for him.

Polling may suggest that voters don't care about Wright, but during the week that the Wright controversy erupted Obama's 12 point lead in N.C. dropped to 7.5 and the dead heat race in Indiana turned into a 5 point Clinton lead.  People may be saying one thing, but I have a hard time believing these events are not related.
